Positions
Fiber Optics Installation
We provide a wide array of Fiber Optic services including design, installation, assessment, planning, cable testing and certification. These services are offered for multi-mode and single-mode applications, inside plant and outside plant infrastructure.
Fiber Optic Splicer
- Installation of fiber optic cable in new and existing conduit.
- Terminate, test, troubleshoot and maintain fiber optic networks.
- Will need to update and maintain fiber records throughout each project as well as complete weekly paperwork, such as time sheets and vehicle inspection reports.
- Will require significant time doing manual labor functions, walking on uneven ground, working in tight spaces and in general, being overall physically demanding.
- Must be able to perform heavy physical work and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must ensure that both he/she and all employees under his/her supervision comply with proper safety standards/ procedures and work practices according to OSHA standards, Selrico Communications and/or the customer, whichever standard is higher.
- Must be able to work flexible hours with the understanding that workdays can be in excess of normal hours and some weekend and holiday work may be required.
Fiber Optic Technician
The basic job description includes assisting the Lead Splicer with prepping the splice location. This could include pulling cable, prepping the enclosure, prepping a space. This position is for those who are familiar with fiber optics but may not be profecient in splicing and testing
Bucket Operator
The Bucket Truck Operator will be pulling, placing, and assisting with the installation of Fiber Optic Cable. The position could include the following:
- Dropping and hanging fiber optic enclosures.
- Place and lash aerial fiber.
- Place strand.
Aerial & Underground Construction
The demand for outside plant construction such as underground fiber construction has increased rapidly in both large and small communities as broadband providers drive fiber deeper into their neighborhood and we have been helping to fill that need. Internally, companies need technology such as in-building wireless capabilities to meet the demand of the countless devices businesses use in their day to day practice. Aerial & Underground Technician
Installation of fiber optic cable in new and existing conduit.
* Placing hand holes with and without equipment.
* Locating conduit breaks and repairs.
* Placing and lashing aerial fiber.
* Placing strand.

Bucket Operator
The Bucket Truck Operator will be pulling, placing, and assisting with the installation of Fiber Optic Cable. The position could include the following:

Network Cabling and Solutions
We successfully engineer, design, build and test high quality structured copper and fiber cable networks. We work in both commercial and government facilities and incorporate the appropriate industry standards to provide a quality and approved installation
Structured Cabling Technician
The basic job description includes pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
- Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT 6 cable
- Terminating phone jacks
- Testing cable/troubleshooting networking issues
- Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
- Audio/Video
